Digital photography is one thing that may look easy, but if you are going to study it deeply, you can see its beauty. The common that these people do in digital photography is that, when they press the shutter button, they move the camera. Moving the camera makes the picture blur, and you do not want to experience this in yourself. In taking pictures, when you press the shutter button, make sure that you do not move the camera to avoid blurring pictures.

Another wonderful thing about digital photography is using the zoom lens. Mostly, people will use the auto focus in focusing a subject. Now, the beauty of using your zoom lens is that you can make your picture beautiful by filling it with your subject. You can appreciate the beauty of your picture, especially when your picture is filled with your subject. Try to compare a picture wherein your subject is filling your picture using your zoom lens and the other is that your subject is only taking a part of the whole picture because you did not use your zoom lens, you can really see the big difference in it.

Exposure is one important factor in digital photography now, if your subject is in a dark area, you overexpose it and when your subject is in a very light area, you can underexpose it. Changing the view of your subject adds thrill or excitement on your pictures. There are many ways in changing the view of your subject, and it’s up to your creativity to change it. You may want to climb on a tree to shoot your subject from the top, or you may just lie down. Be creative; do not be afraid to try what is on your mind. Remember that digital photography is an art, so you can do anything you want that is on your mind.

After shooting a picture, you can view your taken pictures to your digital cameras. However, if you want to view it in the computer, the common way of transferring your pictures is to use a cable from your camera to your computer. Using cable from your camera is not a very good way, for your camera might fall, or it may damage your camera. Another way is via infrared or Bluetooth. Using a wireless transfer is not also recommended. Using wireless could easily adapt to viruses. Nevertheless, there is one more thing that is more convenient for use than the two. It is the memory card. Memory card will avoid you from damaging your camera and if your computer detected virus on it, you can always reformat it anyway.

Simultaneous with the groundbreaking launch of digital photography is downfall of film photography. Films are now obsolete and companies consider them phase-out. A lot of advancements occurred to the digital world for the past few years. The price of digital photography has drastically declined and is now easy on the pocket for an average consumer. Camera phones now have a good mega pixel that ranges from 3 to 5 or more while the typical digital camera has a minimum of 5 mega pixels. Everyday, newer cameras come out in the open with more spectacular features that really attract the public. The growing popularity of digital photography has gone through several innovative changes since its birth. It has progressed so much that it suits our fast-paced modern lifestyle. It has even stretched to more areas like the medical field. It’s a good business too. However, if you’re still thinking of sticking with your antique camera, stop your sentiments! Here are a few convincing details to help you make up your mind:

- It is convenient, handy and user-friendly. It has been designed so that it can be carried anywhere you go. You can slip it anywhere you want like in your bag, your pouch or your pocket. No need to have a good educational

- It provides instant feedback after you made that click. You are freely able to view photos you recently took through your digital screen. Before deciding which ones to print, you can readily review the pictures, pick out the best ones and delete the worst ones. No wasted prints to grieve over because you are able to distinguish if it was blurred, distorted or maybe the lights were not good enough.

- Printing is never a problem. You can print it all at once or choose to modify and edit it first. You can opt to print it in colored, black and white, grayscale, and sepia, with borders or other effects that you desire. You can be creative in your photos too. Alter a little, adjust slightly, crop a bit and design liberally. It’s even up to you if you print it little by little or by bunch. Unlike films that you have to wait until it’s all used up or finish all the film to be able to print them.

- No worries with film expiration. The memory card that is responsible for storing all the pictures can be used many times after the files have been transferred to another storage place like your computer or laptop. Memory cards are available in different sizes. A 1GB card can store approximately 800 jpeg files.

- You can start photo sharing with your friends, relatives and loved ones from a distance immediately. You just take a photo, transfer the file to your computer and send the file through email. It’s that simple and you can already make someone happy with the pictures you sent. Unlike with films, you need to scan it first before sending them online. You can give out copies in CD’s and DVD’s too.

- If you’re hooked up with digital photography, and you can’t get it off your mind because you’re too obsessed with it, why not make money out of your passion. Let your ingenuity do the work.

And if finally, you decide to venture into the business side of digital photography, here are a few reminders as a starter:

- It is important to know what kind of photography you want so you will concentrate on that field of specialty. May it be on fashion, special occasions like weddings, baptism, anniversaries and others or on the business aspect? In that way, you can gain your reputation, establish your connections and be referred to others.

- Don’t stop with what you know. Attend additional training to enrich your knowledge so you can widen your scope of services for client needs.

- Don’t be shy and tell everybody you know that you’re into the photography business. Who knows, your family and friends might provide you with the biggest customers in town. Print out business cards or advertise through the website is also a good idea. Join clubs, organizations and business meetings to widen your network.

- Grab every opportunity wherein you can master your skill. Never mind if you don’t get paid. The more experienced you are in the field, the more competent you will be. And that means more money coming in. If there is more money, then there is room for advancement both for your equipments and for advertising.

- Do not hesitate to seek the help of an expert. There will always be somebody much more knowledgeable than you are most especially those who are in the same business for quite some time.

What are you waiting for? Bring out your digital camera and capture those unforgettable moments with just a click.
